Me Time for Moms

Me Time for Moms

Now that the kids are back in school, it’s a great opportunity to indulge in some me time for moms. I visited KTLA News this morning to share some clever ideas on how to maximize a mom’s precious and scarce “me time.” From a relaxing day at the spa, to a Vegas getaway, or a service that makes shopping a breeze, check out all my ideas below! To watch the full segment, visit the On Air page.

Stitch Fix

Shopping for the fall season is a great way for moms to refresh their wardrobe, but many of us don’t want to waste our precious alone time scouring the mall trying to put outfits together. That’s why I love Stitch Fix. They make shopping a breeze and there’s no subscription or membership required. The online personal styling service offers women’s, men’s and they recently launched Stitch Fix Kids, making it easier than ever to shop for the whole family. The styling team will pick out a personalized selection of clothing and accessories suited to your style, fit, and price preferences and it’s delivered right to your door. I love that you get complete outfits from known and loved brands, so it takes the guesswork out of trying to do it yourself. You can try everything on in the comfort of your own home and send back what you don’t want to keep, allowing you spend your me time for moms doing what you love most.

The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

Las Vegas is the ultimate adult getaway destination and The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort is the perfect spot for moms to have some child-free fun and relaxation. The resort just underwent a design evolution that includes renovations to all guest suites and casino floor, a new cocktail club called Electra, new restaurants and more. My favorite place to unwind is at the resort’s Aquatic Club, which offers the perfect balance of country club-meets-Vegas poolside experience. The Canyon Ranch Spa has the most soothing treatments, perfect for relaxing after some retail therapy at the Grand Canal Shoppes. The dining options are world-class — I cannot wait to try Mott 32 opening in December. What more of an excuse to go to Vegas do you need?

F45 Training

My workouts have become one of my most treasured “me time” moments ever since I started going to F45 in Sherman Oaks. At F45, you never repeat the same work out, which creates results that exceed personal training, but for a fraction of the cost. You can burn up to 800 calories during the 45-minute workout. They have several classes to choose from throughout the day, so even busy moms like me can find a time that works for their schedule. They provide a welcoming environment that caters to every fitness level. I’ve never loved a fitness program as much as I love F45 so I highly recommend it, and now you can try it for free! Take advantage of their one-week free promotion so you can experience it firsthand at one of their studios in Sherman Oaks, Encino, Woodland Hills, and coming soon to Calabasas.

OleHenriksen Face/Body Spa

There’s no better way for a mom to pamper herself than a day at the spa. Head over to see Vance Soto, owner of OleHenriksen Spa. This celebrity-favorite spa is located in West Hollywood’s Sunset Plaza. Vance suggests moms try his Red Carpet Facial, which is a favorite of Katy Perry, Daniel Craig and Shakira. Their Moroccan Bath is also a big favorite for moms and is also great for couples if you want to bring your partner along for some kid-free relaxation. Celebrities may love this full service spa, but everyone who walks through the door is treated like a VIP as soon as they arrive.

Artistry Signature Select Personalized Serum

If a day at the spa isn’t in the cards right now, create your own professional facial experience at home by customizing a skincare regimen using Artistry Signature Select Personalized Serum. This innovative product puts you in control of your skincare. You start by selecting up to three amplifiers that target your unique skin concerns – hydration, brightening, anti-wrinkle, firming or anti-spot – and mix them into the base serum to create your own blend. It’s the perfect way for busy moms to personalize a beauty routine, give themselves a DIY facial and target their specific skincare needs.
